FLOAT VALVE – HORIZONTAL (MODULATING)

A modulating level control Valve closes at high water levels to prevent overflow of a ground storage tank, basin or reservoir and opens to refill when the water level drops. Normally this valve is either full open or full closed, however the design characteristics of its controls causes the main valve diaphragm assembly to modulate (close slowly) over the last few inches of filling.

FLOAT VALVE – VERTICAL (NON-MODULATING)

A non-modulating Level Control Valve which maintains the level in ground storage tank, basin or reservoir. The valve opens fully when the level falls a preset (adjustable) amount and closes tightly at the high water (adjustable) level.
