Ball Check Valves

The Solution to Wastewater Complexities & Modern Roping Challenges

Experiencing Performance Issues?

25% of current maintenance issues in wastewater treatment plants are caused by the accumulation of modern debris and trash*.

The presence of modern-day trash in wastewater systems can block pumps and other machinery, leading to increased upkeep costs and decreased effectiveness of treatment processes.

Frequently utilized in industrial settings, particularly in demanding wastewater lift stations, Ball Check Valves can help manage fluid flow more efficiently when modern trash is present.

Different Type of Ball Check Valves

Versatility . Performance . Efficiency

Ball check valves are frequently used in a range of water supply systems and residential and industrial applications.

SIMPLE AND EFFICIENT
DESIGN

Ball Check Valves simple design reduces maintenance and energy needs associated to cost. With no moving parts apart from the ball, which moves out of the flow path automatically, ball check valves are known to minimize energy consumption and mitigate roping.

OUTSTANDING
PERFORMANCE

Ball check valves offer outstanding performance and are known for their extended service life. The valve’s simple yet effective design, enables it to regulate fluid flow efficiently and consistently.

EASY TO MAINTAIN
AND MONITOR

It’s self-cleaning, rugged, and reliable body is able to withstand repeated cycling due to reseating on a different surface with each cycle. Ball Check Valves can be connected to a SCADA system to monitor the position of the valve (open or closed) with a proximity switch.

Reliable
Operation

When solid contaminants are present in a system, the pumping requirement may increase. However, the self-cleaning action of the ball while in operation helps maintain the valve’s performance and reduces the necessity for maintenance interventions.

During operation, the rotation of the self cleaning ball prevents impurities from becoming trapped within the valve. The ball is moved back to the seat to seal off the flow in reverse direction. Under sufficient pressure in the flow, the ball is elevated away from the flow. As the pressure drops, the ball descends and is directed towards the seat.

Streamlined
Design

Its simple but powerful design reduces maintenance and energy needs associated to cost.
